South African Airways Vacations Breaks 2K Barrier on Air-Inclusive Packages Jul 21st 2013, 19:00
South African Airways Vacations imposed a $125 reduction on all of its packages for fall and winter travel on bookings made by Oct. 15, bringing its entry price for air inclusive packages to under $2,000. It’s a price not seen in a while for air-inclusive packages to South Africa. The reduced pricing applies for travel Sept. 13-March 31, 2014.
With the price reduction, SAA Vacations’ lowest-priced package, Five Nights in Sensational Cape Town, is priced at $1,999. It includes time in Cape Town and tours of the Cape Peninsula and wine region.
The six-night Affordable South Africa combines the Cape with a safari and is now priced from $2,699. With the South African rand at about 10 to the US dollar, buying power in South Africa is better than most other countries in the world.
